Nan Inspiration

I haven't been in the mood for dolls much recently...……………..not sure why, they are usually my "relaxation" and escape from real life. This morning I finally felt like playing a little bit, so got Nan out for some "inspiration".

One of these days I hope to get back to actually story telling with my Glade crew...……….but for now I'll just enjoy playing with them while in the mood.

More of Kalysta as I decided to change her eyes out from brown to blue and take her outside for some pics.

I like the blue I think. I just wish it was easier to set the eyes in this size doll. Took me forever to set them and I'm still not 100% I'm happy with how they are set.

Still working on more of her "story". I am anxious for my gray David to arrive from Raccoon Doll to see if he might work for a love interest for her.

Kalysta

Named Kalysta, as her mother of course thought she was the most beautiful baby in the world, she has lived most of her life in the care of her mother's best friends, her mother having died of illness when Kalysta was very young. Kalysta's father, who was a Misceo, was killed not long after her mother's death. 

While her father lay dying, he confided to Devlyn that he had 2 other children from a previous union. They were raised by a human couple that he knew and trusted after the death of their mother. 

His other children do not know of Kalysta's existance……….but Nox does. Nox also knows how to get in touch with them should Kalysta ever want to find them.

Kalysta was told of their existence when she became of age.

Nox Just Because

Some just because pictures of Nox, as I changed his outfit yesterday. Nox likes color, and when not working always wears something somewhat colorful.

I love how this wig from Chewin turned out. Just how I envisioned him. I'd love to get another in a dread ponytail style.

The ebony resin is so striking in person, although not the easiest to photograph.

I do have to say, the Dane sculpt has moved way up the "favorites" list since he arrived. I wish I had space/money to have one in a couple more resin colors.
