Koehlon and Nan

Just catching up with Koehlon and Nan.............with photos at least.

They are still fighting their attraction to each other...........or at least he is fighting his to her.

But I think he's beginning to realize he can't commit his life to another. I do really love these 2 together.

Grayson-Growing Impatience

His patience has grown thin..............the moment he touched her he recognized her as his. She recognized it also, and he felt her terror at the realization. She wasn't ready. He had hoped by giving her time and space, the intrinsic pull the bond would have over both of them would wear her down and help her to realize this was their destiny. 

He had longed for such a bond all his life..............but as he has discovered during his time of introspection, while giving his mate her freedom to come to terms with the bond, Shy's feelings about a true mating bond appear to be much different than his.

Shy's mind is strong...........she has become very good at blocking him during their time apart. He will however get a glimpse of feeling across the bond at times when she is tired.  

Anxiety is now the emotion that comes across most strongly, and while fear is still present at times, the fear seems to have abated somewhat, which Gray takes as a positive sign.

It is time. He needs to stop putting his life on hold and convince Shy that the bond is a blessing and not a curse. He has his work cut out for him...............but Gray has always liked a challenge.

Shy-Hard Truths

The time is coming..................Shy has known this for a while now. She has been in denial but the pull has been getting stronger....................the mating bond. Why her? She NEVER wanted to be mated. After what happened to her father in the wake of her mother's death, she swore she would never put herself through it. When her mother died, her father was so lost, he left his children in the care of humans, as he couldn't function well enough himself to properly care for them. She loved her human family, but if the bond could be that destructive, she knew that she never wanted any part of it. The chances were slim, there were not many Misceo's that experienced the true mating bond, so she believed she would be safe......................until Grayson.

She met Grayson through Nox, he was an associate that worked with Nox.  As soon as she met him, in the back of her mind she knew. She didn't want to know, and her denial was strong, but when he touched her for the first time she KNEW, she was terrified, and she ran. She has been running ever since, moving around throughout all the territory. Not staying in one place too long.

She knew she couldn't run forever. Misceo's with a true mating bond had a mental and physical sense for one another that was not to be denied.  It got stronger once the union was consummated. She had not taken that step with Grayson yet, but still she could feel him...........had been able to feel him through the mental bond they shared, even if she was physically distant from him. Lucky for her, Grayson was a patient man. He had let her have her space to come to terms with their fate.

Lately she could feel his restlessness...........and the pull to him was getting stronger. She feared his patience with her was wearing thin.

And this morning, Nox arrived with the confirmation. Grayson was tired of waiting...........he was coming for her.

What did she do? She was tired. Work wasn't the distraction it once was.

And it was a struggle to try and shut Grayson out day after day...........she was mentally exhausted. Had the time come to face her fears?

Kalysta-Something on her Mind

Kalysta looked like her thoughts were heavy this morning as I was photographing her. Maybe she is thinking about Shy, the sister she has never been allowed contact with.

I'm really surprised how much I really like her in pink with her reddish lips. It was kind of a fluke putting this gown on her as I was putting the gown she had on previously on someone else, so I just grabbed one of the first gowns to come up in my stash so she wasn't standing around nude. I think it suits her.

Back to Being Laurion

I've had Laurion in modern day clothes for a bit now.............today I thought it was about time he went back to his Glade persona.

It was such a beautiful day today I couldn't resist taking one of the dolls outside.

I love him in purple. It brings out his eye color.

Nieves-A Rare Breed

From the moment I saw this girl I thought she would make a perfect "rare" Nix Misceo..........one who can blend with the frost and snow.  She arrived this week, and I think she will fit the role perfectly. She has such a delicate vibe about her.

I'm going to call her Nieves, which I believe means Lady of the Snow, which is fitting for her I think.

I look forward to playing with her a bit more and figuring out her exact place in my fantasy world.

A New Face in the Glade

 Just sharing a new arrival...............still trying to figure out exactly where he is going to fit in. Taking pics of my dolls are one of the best ways for me to figure out their characters, so spent some time with him in front of the camera upon his arrival yesterday.

Still kicking around the name Bannon for him. Not 100% sure if that fits or not so will think on it a while

He arrived with a broken finger, so that was a bit of a bummer. I have no doubt RD will make good on it, but with the state of shipping nowadays its a trifle irritating. In the meantime will just work on working around it.
