In His Head (Ryland)

Ryland, taking some time alone with his thoughts.
Until his favorite distraction shows up to bring him back to the present.

Another New Face

I ordered Elf Rosie during Raccoon Doll's anniversary sale last year and she arrived home yesterday. The main reason for ordering her was to give Nan a body of her own (she has currently been sharing with Rowena, and I find I'd like to have both of them available for storyline purposes at the same time)………………...so I ordered Elf Rosie, thinking she was mature and could be a good sculpt to play the Queen, Koehlon's mother. The Queen isn't a character I planned to do much with, just use occasionally in Koehlon's story, so she was the perfect sculpt to pick to give up her body.
We had a heck of a time finding a wig I really liked on her. Those elf ears make it a bit problematic to have the 5/6 wigs I tried from Monique to stay down far enough in the back. I originally wanted her to wear this "Pretty Girl" wig from Monique, but it just poofed up too much at the top/sides.
So I tried on the Monique "Ginger" wig and it looks much better on her I think.
I still need to decide for storyline purposes if I want to use her as the "Queen" or if I'd rather use her as "Nycis", Koehlon's betrothed from Aeyonary. I need to figure out which way would be more beneficial to the story. She does look very regal though, doesn't she?

Nox & Daisha-An Unwanted Confidence

Ever have someone tell you something in confidence that you wish they could just take back so you didn't have to know about it? Nox doesn't trust easily. Daisha is one of the few people he trusts completely. He needed her help, so had to confide in her and now she wishes they could just take the whole conversation back. She loves her job, but sometimes wishes she wasn't so good at it. She doesn't like keeping things from those she loves, even if she knows it is for their own good at the moment.

Rhi and Reaghan

I've been wanting to pull Rhi into the Glade storyline for a while now, but just haven't been sure as to where/how she would fit in. When Reaghan (FID Elle) showed up I got the idea in my head of the two of them being sisters...………………….sisters who were very protective of their niece, who is already involved in the Glade storyline. I believe their elder brother and his wife were killed, entrusting their daughter into the care of Rhi and Reaghan.
Rhi and Reaghan are both very powerful Druids, known as "Others" to the humans and other inhabitants of the region within which they were born. Because of their abilities, their kind inspire fear, most especially within the human realm and they became hunted, which  drove them (and those in their community like them) up  north into the territory inhabited by the Tuath'n Elves. They were given sanctuary within these lands and have worked hard to stay "hidden" away from most of society within the past few decades.
Besides the Tuath'n Elves, they do have a small band of  Misceo's who they call friends, and help in their quest to stay "under the radar" of their neighbors to the south and west. Those they trust are few and far between and they try to stay out of affairs not related to them, but  Rhi fears they are soon to be drawn into something that will rock the foundation of the semi peaceful lives they have known the past decade or so.

Mystery Players

Somewhere to the north of the Glade, Ryland and Reaghan have a bit of a disagreement regarding their niece.
While Reaghan has great love for Ryland...…………….she doesn't always agree with his methods.
Her worry for her niece's welfare, overshadows her knowledge that Ryland's plan was viable.
Waiting for news is hard though...…...patience has never been Reaghan's strong suit.

The Misceo Woman

I recently got a new gown made out of gold dance fabric from Robyn of Period Threads. Ever since it arrived, I've wanted to put my Misceo ladies in their dance fabric gowns for a group photo.
I love seeing all the different resin colors together. I love Raccoon Doll's gray. The mint is beautiful as well, although it is harder for me to photograph for some reason. I'd like to get a girl in the regular mocha resin this year.
And one last shot of the girls all together.
I wanted to get shots of each of the girls separately as well. Shy and Sabia cooperated, Daisha didn't. She will have to get her separate portrait later. Gold suits Sabia well.
And Shy shines in the cobalt with silver sparkles.
