Starcrossed

 Ginia is tired.......................tired of the deception, tired of pretending Toross, the love of her life, her child's father, is something he is not...........uncaring and dangerous to her and her child. Yes, she agreed to the deception, for her child's sake. Toross was convinced, when he learned of her pregnancy that they must make the world believe that he threw them away.  His family, and his place, his job within it was too dangerous. Their plan worked.............Joran certainly believes his father is an unfeeling, uncaring, bigoted monster. Appearances can be deceiving, especially when they are carefully crafted to appear that way.

Stolen moments, brief and clandestine were no longer enough for Ginia. Toross tried to encourage her to move on, to leave him behind, and she tried..........for years she tried to live without seeing him. She could never give herself over to another when her heart truly belonged to Toross though and eventually they fell into the pattern of meeting once or twice a year in obscure locations, but it was not enough.  She is convinced they need to let Joran know his father is not the man he was made out to be, that the only reason he left them was for their own safety.  Grayson knows, and it is unfair to expect him to continue, to keep their secret and be dishonest, by ommission, with Joran. 

Once again, Toross does not want to discuss it.

And once again she doesn't want to fight with him on their brief time together.

So she lets it go..............but secrets always have a way of coming out, and she fears for her relationship with her son if this one somehow comes to light.

Testing

 Just some more "testing" shots trying to figure out where Kage is going to fit in. I've been contemplating pairing him with Nieves eventually, so just wanted to see what their "chemistry" was together.  Kage is a wraith, an ancient race, precursor to the Misceo races. 

The wraiths can be completely invisible, for as long as they choose to be so, making them the perfect race of spies and protectors. The inspiration for these photos is Kage has been watching Nieves for quite a while in his invisible form, as he is not quite ready for her to know of his existence, but he is drawn to her and feels she is in danger, so he

s keeping watch over her.

Nieves can feel his pull, feels that there is a "comforting" presence around her, but she doesn't understand what that presence is.

Until Kage finally decides to make himself corporeal.

The Grays

 Trying to figure out my last batch of gray dolls that have come into the fold. Still one more on the way. He's in transit and has been stuck in Chicago customer for about a week. Hopefully he (Iple FID gray Dylan) will be released soon, although I still haven't figured out what role he will be in. I bought Elf Dominic partly to have a second fog gray body for my fog gray Jude's to share as I ordered both the human and elven heads of his sculpt. My plan was to make Elf Dominic the father of my human Jude, his mother being my gray Iple FID Elle. Ginia, my gray Elle originally had black hair, and I think she may go back to that color, although I tried to change it up a bit since my Elf Dominic also has black hair. 

I tried one of my Leeke wigs on Ginia, in shades of gray with lavender (although it almost looks more pink here).

 I wanted to give her a bit of contrast next to Toross, Elf Dominic. My original plan was that these two would be Joran's (human fog gray Jude's) parents. Star crossed lovers, forced to stay apart for Joran's safety.........making Joran believe his father was an uncaring, cruel male with no regard for his family. Little did Joran know that was in no way the truth, but it was what he had to believe to keep him and his mother safe from the many enemies Toross had made through the centuries. I'm not sure I'm 100% sold on them together. 

And a picture of Joran, fog gray Jude. He has he same makeup palette as Toross. I really need to get some photos of them together.

Still trying to work out all the particulars of their story. More photos are in order, and more wig choices for Ginia. Then again, the fun is in the playing, so I'll just play until I figure it all out.

Olwen

 I'm not sure where this girl is going to fit into my stories, but I have recently become very enamored of Magic Mirror dolls. I put a Levon in preorder earlier this year, and when Marta had a leftovers sale not long ago I brought Olwen home and LOVE her. She poses so fluidly, she's just a joy to pose and play with.

I've found most of my Minifee things work pretty well on her. She's my perfect fantasy girl. She has a very ethereal quality to her.

She actually fits in very well with my Iple FID/SartoriaJ mini's and Raccoon Dolls. She's wearing default Racoon Doll eyes her. Her wig that she is wearing here is a size 5/6.

Once I had this girl in hand I had to go back and put her sister Orla in layaway. I am totally sold on these little pieces of art, and I look forward to bringing home more of them.

The last of the fogs

 Last summer I went a little crazy with the fog gray dolls SartoriaJ released and bought Elf Lobelia, Elf Jude with the optional human head and Elf Dominic with optional human head as well. I wish I had been able to swing vampire Philip  and his human head as well, but I had to draw the line somewhere. This past week the last of the fogs, Dominic, arrived.

The human head was on the body so he got attention first. 

I asked for the bearded face up from the original Elf Dominic release, and it is a stunning face up, as all the fog face ups have been. I haven't  settled on a name for him yet, but I do like this wig for him. Still have to figure out his story as well.

And here is Elf Dominic, who I am going to call Toross, Tor for short. He is Joran's (human head fog Jude) father.  I had my human Jude head painted with the same face up as Elf Dominic. There is a lot of story there, but I am just starting to unfold it.

And a shot of both Dominic's together. I want to put Joran with Toross next and try and figure out their dynamic. I also need to figure out how these two are related.

 Even though it was a bit windy I just felt like taking some outdoor pics for a change, and Koehlon got nominated as I just changed his clothing. My apologies for the stray hairs............it was unavoidable.
