A Snowy Winter's Day

 Since Vanya and Micha live in the northern territories, I thought it would be fun to visit them inside on a snowy winter's day. Vanya definitely has something on her mind.

And I've wanted to put one of the guys in this wonderful Raccoon Doll winter elf outfit. It's a great outfit. I wish they would do one in shades of black and grey as well.............or shades of dark greens.

Grayson-A Risky Decision

 Well, the decision was made and he felt better for it, even if it could prove incredibly unpopular with his mate.  They had been dancing around their bond for months now. He had given her too much time as it was, in his opinion, but he wanted their mating to be mutual. 

He started making short visits to the Glade almost 5 months ago now, to accustom her to his presence..................and hopefully over-ride the anxiety Shy was feeling with desire.

And he felt his plan was working, Shy was leaving their bond open now for much longer periods at times, and the anxiety she felt at times was an anxiety born of interest, not of fear.  

When he kissed her last before he left, she was a full participant...........enjoying the closeness near as much as he did............and there was definitely desire there. He just hoped after Nox brought her to him, and he explained things, that she didn't attempt to sever their bond completely. He couldn't let that happen. He wouldn't let that happen.  It was however a chance he had to take, she had to know, and he needed to be the one to tell her.

A Listening Ear

 Nieves doesn't handle embarrassment well.  In fact, all emotions are hard for her. She supposes that is her Misceo heritage. At the moment she is feeling very embarrassed and would like to go hide in a cave somewhere that she will never have to come face to face with Micha again.

This is how Vanya finds her on this cold winter's day. Vanya has raised Nieves, since her parents were killed, and is the only mother Nieves really remembers.

Vanya is of the opinion a listening ear is always helpful even if it might not always be welcome.

A mother's love helps to heal all hurts.

New Elven Arrival

 I've wanted this doll since she was first shown on the Raccoon Doll website, but I kept pushing her back in favor of other characters I wanted to shell.  In the sale this past fall, I finally caved and added her to my crew, and I'm so glad I did. I just love everything about her. 

I love how they did her makeup, even though she is blushed quite a bit. It works for her somehow. I love her makeup palette on this resin (normal instead of the white she was shown with on the promo shots). I love the new body. I got her on the slim v.2, as I didn't have any dolls with that body yet. I love the shape of her ears. I am even pleased with her default eyes.

I love how her ear peeks out of this wig, so she may get to keep it for a while. I think the white wig suits her.

I still need to decide on a name for her. Hopefully the more I play with her the quicker it will come to me.

A Story to Tell

 I was looking at the dolls standing around in the room I keep them and noticed Nieves was slightly in front of Micha with her hand much as it is posed her in the first picture. I immediately thought there is some story there. I'll just have to "pull" it out of them.

I've thought since Micha's arrival that he had some type of history with Nieves, just haven't figured out what it is yet. After photographing them together this morning I think there is most definitely some interesting story there to tell.

He's most certainly done something worthy of an explanation and apology by the looks of it. I had originally thought they would have a brother/sister vibe, but now I'm thinking that might not be right.

At least not on her side...............

And maybe not his either. It will be fun to see how it plays out.

Micha

 The first of my Raccoon Doll summer sale purchases arrived the end of last week. He is the Ken sculpt in normal resin. When I first opened his box, I was really surprised at his resemblance to Kai. I really thought he could be Kai minus the Elf ears, which suits me fine, as I love Kai's sculpt. He looks quite different than his promo pics on the RD site, but I'm quite happy with him. I switched his eyes out to some Masterpiece size 7/8mm I had on hand in Caribbean, and I think they suit him nicely. He has wider eye wells than most of my Iple FID guys, so the 7/8's worked well for him.

I'm trying to figure out just how he fits into things in the "Glade" world.  He is from the north country, and he will have ties to RD Nina's character (who has been queued up at RD for a couple of weeks now, so hopefully she will arrive soon).  I believe he also has ties with Nieves, but not sure what those ties will be. Still working on his backstory. 

UPDATED to say I've changed my mind of both this guys origins. I believe he is a vampire and I've also changed my mind on his name. I have decided to name him Michail and call him Micha for short.
