Group Shot

 I got ambitious last week and decided to take a group shot of my FID Glade girls all together. Group shots are really hard for me with more than a couple of dolls. I was fairly pleased with how this one turned out.

I didn't get any close ups of the girls in back I liked, but I did rather like this one of Kalysta (grey Mari) and Nieves (white Isabel) together.

I then did a shot of Nan with Kalysta and Nieves as they grew up together as friends.

Next I guess I need to get all the Raccoon Doll girls from the Glade together.

Maeve

 Playing with the new impulse girl, trying to nail down a look for her.  She was an Iple auction doll that I put in a last minute bid on becuase I couldn't stop looking at her.............and ended up winning. So not really planned, but I think she will fit in nicely anyway.  I know she will be wolven, or at least part wolven, so her eyes work for me. I kind of like the golden color of this Ginger wig, but not sure about all the curls. Although for a part wolven character, all the hair is probably appropriate.

Next up I tried the old staple, Monique Pretty Girl style on her. Unfortunately they don't make this style in the Golden color of the "Ginger" wig above. I do like this style for her though.

I do wish Monique was more consistent with the colors they offer across their styles.

More of Nieves

 Just playing a bit with Nieves to try and figure her out. I know she and Kalysta are good friends, and that she  is a Nix Misceo (one that blends with snow and ice), but other than that I'm still figuring her out.

I do think she is very shy and reserved.

And that she prefers her own company, and the company of animals  to most others.

New Background

Got a new shoji screen to use as a background for the smaller dolls (it's 2 ft tall), and thought I'd try it out. Daisha got to model.

I think it will work quite well  for something different.

Still amazes me how much I love a mint green doll, but I think Daisha (Daisy) turned out beautiful. Really is true to never say never in this doll collecting hobby. If you had told me even 2 years ago I would own a mint green doll I would have told you that you were crazy.

Morning Stroll

I took these of  Ryland out for a weekend stroll on Sunday. I got a new wig I thought I might like on him, and I do.

I keep going back and forth as to whether or not I want to spring for one of the new SartoriaJ 51cm guys. I love the Jude sculpt, and I quite like a couple of the others as well.

I'd like to see how close the new resin shades compare to the old. Ryland is the original amber beige and I think he matches quite nicely with the Iple's regular realskin resin. He is on an Iple FID Muscle body here.

I think the resin match is really good, and am curious how the new shades compare as I read SartoriaJ was going to slightly change the color mixes.

Koehlon and Nan

Just catching up with Koehlon and Nan.............with photos at least.

They are still fighting their attraction to each other...........or at least he is fighting his to her.

But I think he's beginning to realize he can't commit his life to another. I do really love these 2 together.
